Scout Land Consultants is hiring a Director, Marketing Technology to work out of their Greenville, SC office on a hybrid schedule.
 We are a technology-enabled service business with a robust technology stack that supports our site identification and landowner outreach efforts. In a nutshell, we identify specific properties based on unique land characteristics suitable for bespoke developments, then contact the owners, and drive the leads to our land acquisition team. We have a solid technology platform including a proprietary GIS tool (ARCGIS), Hubspot (CRM), and workflow automations for multiple landowner touch points (including direct mail, SMS, Ringless Voicemails, and emails), and we’re looking for an experienced, capable technician to maintain and advance our platform. 

​​​​​At Scout Land Consultants, we’re redefining how Solar Development gets done – using location intelligence and systems to streamline site acquisition. Scount Land Consultants works with Solar Developers to identify suitable properties to construct projects and then facilitates land agreements between the developer and landowner. Our mission is to be the source for solar sites – helping our clients recognize the potential for their land and reach win-win land agreements with qualified developers.

Responsibilities: 

● Developing marketing and technology strategies to support core business initiatives. 

● Managing third party consultants including our programmer, GIS engineers, marketing agency, and internal support team 

● Coordinating with the land acquisition leadership to develop content and execute outreach experiments with the goal to increase engagement. 

● Quarterbacking technology systems advancements, updates, and maintenance

● You have experience in a mid-level or higher in a technology/marketing capacity with a company generating between 10-20m in revenue. 

● You have experience selecting and managing a team, including third party consultants. 

● You have a strong executive presence and the ability to understand high level strategic objectives and translate them into tactical execution. 

● You’ve got a knack for quickly understanding people’s problems and finding the right solution out of a variety of options. 

● You are comfortable investing hard work in the early years for long term career dividends. You are looking for a long term and stable career. 

● You have strong principles and moral foundation and it’s important for you to work with people you trust and respect; and your coworkers can expect the same from you
